We have all seen the devastation caused by Hurricane Ian in Southwest Florida. The crushing storm surge, wind speeds, and torrential rainfall left countless homes and businesses damaged or under water. Our friends and family in the water sports community are experiencing a loss that no one should ever have to experience and devastation that will take coming together as a water sports family to help rebuild homes, businesses, and communities.

It is hard to find reliable and trustworthy sources to donate. We have set up a list of “GoFundMe” links to provide direct support to friends and family in the water sports community that have been devastated by Hurricane Ian. You may know them, have kited or wingfoiled with them, efoiled or surfed with them, or just had a laugh and warm conversation on the beach with them. You may not know them at all. But we have all been connected out on the water together in different places at the same time.

The families that you can donate to are some of the kindest, most generous people we know and I want to give an example of a conversation I had while setting these links up:

“Damo, we don’t want to ask for money, there are people here who need it even more than us right now” (she said while both her home and her husband’s parents homes were flooded). These are people that will help others 100% if they need it more.

With your help, our water sports friends and family in these links can start to rebuild their homes and businesses.
